Due to one of the biggest backlashes in gaming history, Electronic Arts has decided to temporarily disable microtransactions on their newest game release: Star Wars Battlefront II.The backlash comes after Electronic Arts put the main characters behind a paywall so that in order to even play them, you had to either play the game for 40 hours, which were reduced to 10 hours, or pay real-world money. In some instances, this made the multiplayer functionality unplayable for many new players. Also, the all loved refund Button was temporarily removed. So, if you want to refund the game now, you have to call them. Not really kind of Electronic Arts. Hopefully, they have learned their lesson, but we all doubt they learned anything.
